Human ashes on eBay

A son tried to auction his mother’s ashes on eBay – but the website banned the sale. Glen Beaton said Margaret, 72, had loved travel and appealed for people across the globe to buy a portion of her remains and scatter them. Mr Beaton, 44, of Inverness, Scotland, added: “I do not intend to profit from my mother’s passing. I just want to fulfil a wish.†eBay said sales of human remains broke its rules.
