Ardee – New livestock auction opens

Auctioneers Kieran and McGee began business in Ardee in 1952 and closed their mart premises on June 15 last year after 53 years in the livestock trade, only to re-open their new premises yesterday.
The brand new mart, located just off the motorway, will hold its sheep and lamb sales every Monday at 11am, followed by its calf sale at 3pm. The cattle sale will be held every Tuesday at 12 noon.
