eBay.ie celebrates its first year of business in Ireland on Thursday. An objective in the first year of trading was to demonstrate how Irish ‘eBayers’ can use the site as a business tool. This has been achieved with the launch of the eBay.ie business centre — an online facility for small and medium-sized businesses wishing to capitalise on the website’s potential.

eBay Ireland says it is extremely happy with its development since then, with one item sold every minute by its Irish users.
