iSold It eBay drop off shop opens in Galway

Published June 7th, 2006

A new business that takes the hassle out of selling on eBay has recently opened in Galway.

iSold It, which is one of the fastest growing franchises in Europe, has opened its second Irish franchise in the Briarhill Business Park, Galway.

People can go to iSold It and drop off unwanted items. The item will be photographed, descriptive copy will be written about it, and it will be listed on eBay. iSold It will then track the auction, answer questions from prospective buyers, and process payment when the auction closes. Once an item has been sold, iSold It will ship it to the winner and send out a cheque to the seller.

Everyone knows of eBay. However, according to Ken Dooley, Director of iSold It in Galway, only a small amount of people registered on eBay actually sell on the site.
