Published June 10th, 2006

A REGULATOR to protect the rights of house-hunters and regulate estate agents and auctioneers will be appointed by the Government before the end of the month.

The director of the planned National Property Services Regulatory Authority will have responsibility for stamping out misleading and unethical practices in the industry and will impose sanctions on estate agents who breach the authority’s guidelines.
