A 30 acre residential site in Johnstown, Navan, Co Meath is expected to sell for around €45m.

The site comes with full planning permission for 425 new homes and is on offer in one or two lots through Raymond Potterton Auctioneers.

The property is located off the Dublin Road, just five minutes walk from the Ballis neighbourhood centre with a Supervalu, Jackie Skelly Fitness etc.

Bord Pleanala has given the green light for 361 two-, three-, and four-bedroom houses and 64 one- and two-bedroom apartments.

The scheme proposed includes a childcare facility and 722 car parking spaces.

“Navan is a proven sales location with an exceptionally strong demand for new homes,” Lorraine Gaughan of Ronan Potterton comments. “This is a great opportunity to acquire the best located residential development site in the town.”

Work on the Kilarn and Johnstown sewerage scheme commenced in early May.

This scheme is due to be completed within twelve months.

The site is being sold by tender closing July 14.
