A 19′ Lapstrake wooden runabout is the largest item in the online auction for the campaign to raise money for the Belfast Bridge Fund, set up to pay for the 1921-style railings and lamp posts on the newly reconstructed footbridge in Belfast.

The campaign’s web site, www.BelfastBridgeFund.org, features an eBay store, where donated items have been available for sale all summer at a fixed price. Now, most of those items are being auctioned off.

The 1970 Japanese-made mahogany boat was donated by Ed Gaudette, who lives next to the footbridge. Other one-of-kind items that are now on auction include a one-year pass the Colonial Theatre, which is good for 60 movie tickets (a $420 value). There are also life coaching sessions by local coach Tara Keller, who donated three sets of coaching sessions to the Belfast Bridge Fund. Each three-session set is valued at $200.
