Notes commemorating Northern Ireland soccer legend George Best have been offered for sale at six times their face value - before they have even been released.

Chris de Burgh buys rare WWI letter for £14,400

A rare letter home by an unnamed British soldier describing the Christmas Day truce with German forces in 1914 was bought on Tuesday by Irish singer Chris de Burgh.
De Burgh paid £14,400 for the manuscript.

IPAV call for stamp duty reform

There was confusion tonight over the fate of a potentially historic antique pistol reluctantly handed over to gardai during a gun amnesty.
