Funda.ie is the new property search engine of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (IAVI). Funda.ie will offer properties from the 700 member agencies of the IAVI in addition to non-IAVI agencies. Its meta-search index of Irish property websites allows it to offer more comprehensive coverage of the property market than other property search sites. The site has more than 28,000 listings, mainly in the residential sector.

Funda Ireland, with offices in Dublin’s Digital Hub, is a subsidiary of the Funda group, based out of Amsterdam, Holland. Funda group owns a number of property and financial portals including continental Europe’s number 1 property search site funda.nl.

Funda acquired the Irish property search website Realestate.ie in May 2006 and has restructured the website utilising cutting edge web technology developed and shared amongst the Funda group of companies.

Funda.ie is aiming to take a significant share of the Irish online property market within 12 months.
