A CO Limerick farm which was withdrawn from auction two weeks ago has been sold in recent days for €1.05m.
The 43ac residential farm at Clorane, Kildimo was withdrawn after just a few bids on March 9. At that time, it was making €940,000 but a few days later, a new bidder emerged.
Auctioneer Tom Crosse, who handled the sale, said the sale figure represents €24,400/ac.
The farm was bought in trust by Tynan Murphy Yelverton Solicitors from Limerick and the purchaser is believed to be a substantial land owner in Co Limerick.
