Limerick Council in e10m property deal

A Limerick hotelier has paid almost euro 10 million, or euro 2mn euro per acre, by public Tender, for the once controversial halting site on the Dublin Road.
The five acre landbank, which had been occupied by Travellers for 16 years, was put up for public tender by Limerick County Council, through Rooney Auctioneers.
