Callan-based auctioneers, Grace Real Estate Alliance, are guiding it at €650,000. The residence and the lands are offered for sale in one lot.

The holding includes an attractive traditional farmhouse, outbuildings and lands. The farm is located on the Kilkenny/Tipperary border, eight miles from Callan and 12 miles from Kilkenny city.

The land is of the finest agricultural quality, say the auctioneers, is divided into seven fields and is well watered.

Ballingarry is located in a scenic area and the residence offers fine views of the countryside. All the land is in permanent pasture.

The auction is scheduled to take place at the Club House Hotel, Patrick Street, Kilkenny at 3pm on Wednesday, September 12.
