Roosca riverside land for sale
Published September 25th, 2007
FULL planning permission for a two-storey residence will boost interest in the sale of a 193ac farm in Co Tipperary.
Christy Buckley Auctioneer, in Ballinhassig, Co Cork, is handling the private treaty sale of the farm at Roosca, Cahir, which comes with an asking price of around €3m.
According to Mr Buckley, the land is top quality limestone, laid out in easily worked fields. The land is well sheltered and fronted at one side onto the River Thonogue.
“This is ideally suited for drystock or tillage farming, but it also has potential as a stud farm or golfing or hotel development, subject to planning permission,” he continued.
The farmyard consists of newly-built, general-purpose sheds with a concrete yard and cattle handling facilities.
There are also a number of stone buildings with slate roofs included in the sale.
Roosca is well situated approximately four miles from the vibrant market town of Cahir.
