Tattersalls Ireland December sale finished on Dec. 18 when 158 broodmares and foals sold for a gross of 887,200 euros. The sale’s second session produced an average price of 5,600 euros.

An Elusive City colt out of the Pursuit of Love mare Champion Tipster made top price at 25,000 euros when purchased by Tony O’Callaghan’s Tally Ho Stud. The top filly was a 20,000 euros daughter of Rakti out of the Zafonic mare Texture, sold to John Costello.

251 head were sold during the two-day sale totaling 1,484,500 euros.
